Promoting participant interaction

Meetingbuddy thus provides an online solution whereby all participants can visit the meeting website to find out information about participants prior to the meeting.

For Delegates

We encourage networking between delegates (attendees) and help them find the resources that will help them solve their questions before and during the meeting. Each delegate is encouraged to think about their burning question - to put into words what they are looking for at the meeting. (Everyone has had the experience of arriving at a reception/ wine and cheese party and feeling at a loss. "Am I the only one who doesn't know someone?". It helps them break the ice and start conversations at a new level.

For Presenters

We give Presenters the ability to be better prepared by knowing who their audience will be and identifying their needs and concerns prior to the meeting. They will be better prepared for Q and A sessions, with the resources at hand that people are looking for. 

For Exhibitors

We also allow exhibitors to focus on developing their sales leads and techniques by knowing who the delegates will be. Exhibitors can let the delegates know what they have to offer - they can stand out rather than just be one of the many booths. This will give exhibitors a broader, higher profile and eliminate the 'cold call' atmosphere. Exhibitors will feel better, and will have a better platform to do their best work. This is a low cost way that conference organizers can support these businesses that are often key contributors to conference budgets.

Extending the timeline

By creating a web presence you can effectively extend the period of the meeting. Promotion, networking and information gathering can take place prior to the event. The website can also provide a follow-up service for the benefit of all participants. Presenters may see this as a way to keep in contact with delegates.

Onsite services

At your meeting we can provide summary handouts showing information about delegates, presenters and exhibitors. We can also provide an onsite computer kiosk that participants can interact with to gather information.
