A key premise of our work is that in order for such a consensus to be built, people individually and collectively must change the way they think about war.

What stood out:
Photos of children... how about starting  WITH the children/ youth.

We are on the same planet.

Most of the perceived major problems have straightforward solutions if there is a ‘group-will’ to solve them.

I’m glad the film left Desmond Tutu to the end because I think he got it right: We are all one family.

Very inspiring and hopeful to see and hear so many very thoughtful people working towards world peace and harmony.
 Asking them  the right questions!
People who have lost hope should see this and learn what they can do in their own community.

1/3 of the world is hungry.
My voice will matter.

This reinforced the vulnerability of children and women, world-wide.
Power and greed generally mens’ place in the world, needs to modified.

Love has power. Tutu proves it and has done so much god in an acceptable way.

We need to associate with  like-minded  i.e. concerned , people and encourage and stimulate each other.
Be anxiously concerned about the needs of the age you live , and center your deliberations on its needs and exigencies. I think that’s the way the quote goes from Bahai writings or something close.

Activating political will  rooted in love for all, particularly  those more disadvantaged than ourselves.

The ‘simple but not easy’ reminds me of the basic principle of mediation: to persistently do what is necessary to bring about the common good. for we are all one!

Dont let ideas and intellectualization get in the way of effective action/

Each person can make a difference.
The sea is made of drops of water.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

They are starting to realize that what we each do individually is so important and the thought’s we have can change the world.

Love our neighbours as family.
Live the qualities you want expressed in the world.

What can we do locally?
Woman who inspired her own people to empower themselves to have more life, food, clean water.
How can we address a local issue with the same zeal?
